Moneyfarm is a simple digital investment platform for investing in different portfolios. The project was to upload identification for onboarding from the computer through the webcam. Please see below the entire user journey step by step using the webcam.

Overview

Uploading identification documents through the camera existed in the native mobile app but was absent in the web app.

Pain Points

The journey was not interactive and difficult to follow. You needed to scan the document or click a photo through the mobile and then transfer it to the PC. This added multiple steps for the user.

Goal

Giving the user an extra option to click a photo and upload the document directly from the PC similar to the mobile app will make the user journey much faster and time efficient.
